Planet Hambient 4

Welcome back to the fourth appointment with Planet Hambient.

Today we propose a setting with design pieces belonging to the site FineArt by Di Mano in Mano.

In the foreground a 50s buffet cabinet by Paolo Buffa Decorates the living room wall.furnishes the living room wall Mahogany veneer, it has doors on the front in the lower part, contrasting drawers and flap doors in the upper part. It offers great storage capacity with its 2.16 metre length Handles and leg tips are made of brass.

Of the same finish, mahogany veneer, also created by the architect-designer Paolo Buffa, we placed a round table with a diameter of 130. The decorative motif of the perimeter is the same as that of the buffet topwhile the brass base recalls the feet of the same cabinet.

Three chairs, but there are up to six in the set, serve the table. Created by architect Buffa, they complete the composition. Citronnier, the wood used for the structure, is stained to recall the mahogany veneerof the ebuffet table.

A pair of lamps mod. ‘Mira’ by Ezio Didone for Arteluce with aluminium structureand opal glass, contribute to ambient lighting. Adjustable in height, they allow a better diffusion of light.

A pair of early 1950s armchairs in melange fabric in shades of grey is positioned in the foreground of the living room environment. Modern in design, with restrained lines, they are served by a Gueridon Napoleon III, dating from the mid-19th century, whose mahogany finish matches the furniture present. In our ‘antiques’ catalogue, you can choose from a wide range of coffee tables to match the armchairs.

Various accessories contribute to decorating our Hambient: starting with two oil paintings on canvas placed above the buffet. Of Nordic origin, dated 17th – 18th century, they depict scenes of hilly landscapes, with men intent on work

A pair of Blue John mugs with a turned stem, of rare beauty and value, adorn the coffee table, a double-shelf service trolley with removable trays serves the dining table. Against the wall we have placed a pair of vase columns entirely lacquered chinoiserie. Finally, an Iranian Isfahan carpet craftsmanship brightens up the whole room with its colours.

See you next Thursday with a new Planet Hambient interior.
