DMM FineArt participates in IFA
New year, big news: Di Mano in Mano never stops, and this January it is participating, with a FineArt selection, in the Bergamo fair for the IFA, Italian Fine Art.
The Excellence of FineArt on Display at IFA
FineArt by Di Mano in Mano is the division dedicated to excellence in art, design, and antiques, with an eclectic and integrated approach in the selection and presentation of its products. This January – and until the 21st – you can find FineArt as a guest at the IFA, Italian Fine Art at the Bergamo Exhibition Centre.
It is the first time that FineArt by Di Mano in Mano is participating in IFA. Furniture, paintings, sculptures, and antique objects populate the stand, with the inclusion of some design pieces from the last century, iconic and scenic furnishings. The setup has been carefully designed to create unexpected dialogues between different eras and materials: marbles, carved and gilded or inlaid wood, glazed ceramics and painted ceramics, oil on canvas and tempera on panels, upholstered pieces, and fabrics… A wide variety of items united by their high craftsmanship and elegant, precious finish.
A Benchmark for Art and Antiques
The Bergamo exhibition, whose first event dates back to 1991, plays a key role in the Italian art and antiques show scene, serving as a benchmark for collectors and enthusiasts. From the Giovanni XXIII Congress Center, located in the heart of the city, the exhibition later moved to the Bergamo Exhibition Centre, the most suitable location to host the ever-growing number of exhibitors from across the country and the international flow of visitors.

This year, the first weekend of IFA also coincided with the BAF, a fair entirely dedicated to modern and contemporary art. The two exhibition halls are dedicated to the respective events, creating an interesting dialogue between the ancient and the contemporary.
Some contemporary artworks in the BAF pavilion.
An approach that initially seems to emphasize contrast, not only in the works presented but also in their setup: a more museum-like display in gray-blue tones for the antiques, and a white, bright, almost frenetic atmosphere for the contemporary pavilion.

What at first seems like a stark antithesis, however, transforms into a dialogue between past and present, reflecting the natural evolution of themes and materials used.
Visiting the FineArt Stand
In short, the FineArt stand fits perfectly within this vibrant cultural context, offering and celebrating beauty and value.
The strong attendance we have seen these days once again demonstrates how the world of culture and art still sparks interest for its craftsmanship, quality, and, certainly not least, aesthetics.
And there’s still time to visit! Below you’ll find all the useful information.
