Mostra mercato dagli anni '60 al Seicento andata/ritorno.

Autumn-Winter 2022 Capsule Collection

Flea Market from November 5 to 30, Milan, Viale Espinasse 99.

From the ’60s to the ‘600s back and forth: Di Mano in Mano, a versatile work cooperative, presents an event spanning three centuries, which will animate the Milan store at Viale Espinasse 99 from November 5 to 30.

The curtain rises with FORMANOVA, which does not fear proximity to Baroque, and then seemingly gives way to ANTIQUARIA: an exceptional exhibition of antiques, furniture, art, accessories, and books starting from the ‘600s.

The Di Mano in Mano formula is to give the location the role of ferrying the public through this transition of eras, styles, history, and stories.

“We thought of an event that uses the Milan store as a temporary exhibition of rapidly succeeding eras. In a timeless game, a carousel that occasionally stops, transforms, leaving traces here and there of what was before or what will come after,” says Massimiliano Besana, Marketing and Communication Manager of Di Mano in Mano.

FORMANOVA

FIRST ACT | From November 5 to 18
event milan di mano in mano

Many who look at the Formanova pieces will be struck by their modernity, which has now become classic. True connoisseurs will not remain indifferent to these, which in truth represent the courageous example of artisans who proposed their personal idea of modernism, applying all the mastery of Brianza craftsmanship.

As the name Formanova suggests, the company’s idea was to create functional furniture, with new shapes and materials. It was one of the first to use wood together with metal, creating a line of products—armchairs and chairs first, later furniture, desks, and tables—masterfully made with fine woods, steel, fabrics, and natural leathers.

A touch of color? The modular seats all have women’s names and were the first to have removable cushions, focusing on both practicality and elegance.

From November 5 to 18 at the Milan store of the Di Mano in Mano cooperative, it is possible to see and purchase some perfectly restored Formanova products, returned to their formal splendor.

Additionally, on November 5, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, there will be a sparkling opening with a DJ set by Korova. A perfect way to get into the 1960s atmosphere. To complete everything, there will be a selection of vintage ’60s/’70s vinyl records.

ANTIQUARIA

The journey continues with a selection of furniture and accessories from the ‘600s to the ‘800s. From November 19 to 30, antiques will animate the Di Mano in Mano store at Viale Espinasse 99, Milan.

Alongside books, lamps, and antique furnishings. All to see, buy, and take home immediately.

On November 20 at 3:00 PM, we will further enrich our already rich exhibition with the participation of Isa Marini, table stylist and founder of Look per la Tavola (@lookperlatavola). Isa will demonstrate in the Milan store how to set up a Christmas table, “a setting with crystals and snow”, aiming to inspire creativity and offer etiquette tips for a suggestive holiday table, using objects and products from our store.
