Corner Mix n°6

A new week can only mean a new Corner Mix! Appointment number 6 for lovers of vintage and design of the 50s and 60s with a composition of products from our catalog of modern art.

Today’s living room is aimed at the internationality of lines and style.

As a seat we chose a 60s armchair of Italian production but with a decidedly Scandinavian style, a style that from the second post-war period onwards influenced the entire European production. The new trend gave importance to functionality and let the shapes be dictated by the natural characteristics of the materials.

In this armchair we observe the upholstered furniture that seems almost suspended in the wooden structure that supports them and the inclined armrests for greater comfort, an ergonomic detail that enhances and makes this seat unique.
The Teak wood structure creates a chromatic and material contrast with the upholstery, giving the seat a simple but at the same time elegant look.

Combined with the armchair a 50s dresser of Argentine production with four front drawers from the concave line.
This piece of furniture, made of veneered wood, is embellished with brass handles and leg tips.
Also in this case, as in the sitting, these are not “signed” furnishings but still extremely refined.

To give light to our corner we think a 60s chandelier in opal glass and brass, typical materials of the productions of the period.
