21 October 2016 – The Skin of Time
An extraordinary opportunity to discover an exceptional collection of prestige and rare beauty dedicated to leather wall coverings and antique wall decorations.
On October 21st, our Cambiago store hosted a cultural event dedicated to art and antiques enthusiasts: *”The Skin of Time”* was the opportunity to explore an exceptional collection of prestige and rare beauty dedicated to leather wall coverings, crafted in gilded leather from the 16th to the 19th century.
With this event, we aimed to launch a new cultural journey, offering our clients the chance to engage with important art collections within the exhibition space of Cambiago, the vibrant hub and operational center of the Cooperative’s antique sector.
Through an exhibition pathway spanning over 200 square meters, carefully curated, visitors were able to embark on a journey through the history and artistic evolution of wall decoration, from its origins to more recent times.
The exhibition also featured a valuable contribution by William Baroni, a profound connoisseur and expert on the collection of gilded leathers on display.
