The sacred representation shows the moment of the birth of Jesus in a cave, watched over and adored by Mary and Joseph together with four angels; the figures are well characterized and highlighted by bright colors, while behind them the donkey and the ox blend in with the chromatic uniformity of the cave and the earth. On the right, in the background and in soft colors, fading into the background landscape, the scene of the announcement to the shepherds is depicted. The painting is presented in a period frame.

La Rolls-Royce su cui viaggiano viene fermata da un uomo vestito da prete induista che esplode tre colpi di pistola uccidendo il principe. Il capitano Wyndham lo insegue, ma l'assassino riesce a scappare tra i vicoli, scomparendo in mezzo alla folla di una parata religiosa. Indagando Wyndham e Surrender-not si accorgono di quanto il regno sia teatro di tumulti e sommosse. Il principe Adhir era infatti mal sopportato da alcuni gruppi religiosi e il suo fratello minore, nuovo successore al trono, è solo un playboy buono a nulla. Mentre i due poliziotti uniscono le forze per tentare di risolvere il mistero, rimangono coinvolti in una fitta rete di segreti e minacce all'interno di un mondo pericoloso e senza pietà. Sta a loro trovare il killer, prima che sia lui a scovarli.

Since 1998, Royal Copenhagen has started producing the Christmas plate dedicated to children with illustrations that represent the joy that Christmas inspires in children. Each plate was produced in limited quantities only and exclusively in the year of the first printing, which takes place from March 1st, and production ended at the end of the year with the destruction of the original mold which made it impossible to reproduce. As a guarantee of authenticity, the plate bears the Royal Copenhagen mark with the three overlapping wavy lines, which represent the three Danish straits: Øresund, the Great Belt and the Little Belt, and the initials of the painter who created the unique illustration of the plate. The plate measures 17 cm. in diameter and on the back it has two holes made by Royal Copenhagen itself during production so that it can be hung.

Sebbene Machiavelli abbia conosciuto una fortuna assai larga, lo stesso non può dirsi della sua lingua, che già dai contemporanei era giudicata con severità. Solo biasimi, quasi in ogni età, hanno ricevuto le sue "negligenze" grammaticali, ovvero gli ingredienti più tipici della sua lingua (si pensi ai fiorentinismi post-trecenteschi, alle forme idiomatiche, alle voci dotte, alle spezzature sintattiche, agli anacoluti).
