Oil on canvas. The attribution to Amorosi is plausible especially for the subject, so widely treated by the author. The interest for the children, for the world of children and, more in general, for a popular, led to the Love to paint numerous small canvases with the children, often engaged in a job or with small animals; features, however, this to his production the ability to portray the children with a look realistic, without to load the scene lights, shadows, or allegorical meanings, representing them as they are, simple and true, proud of their work or, as in this case, their dog.
