Description
Figure in porcelain statue of Shou Lao with the stork, of the late period of the Republic. The Shou Lao is the divinity in the taoist symbol of longevity. It is often represented next to a bimbo assistant that brings the spoils of fishing, or riding a deer, or next to a stork or a crane. Marked and stamped under the base.
