Watercolor and white lead. Signed at the lower right corner. Genre scene depicting a fishmonger weighing the goods of the young mother on the lever scales. Native of Castellammare di Stabia, Ettore Tito moved to Venice where he studied at the Academy and worked until his death. He expressed his talent by depicting the lives of Venetial folks with realism. Presented in frame. Early 20th century.
