Description : Cristo portacroce
Oil on canvas. On the back of the canvas, a hand-written dated October 1634 returns the name of "the mr. Luigi Agostinini" who "donated the Church of Conca," this painting together with the Virgin of Sorrows. Christ is depicted half-bust, rotated to the back, dripping with blood, the blood of the wounds of the crown of thorns, burdened by the weight: there is a strong impression of the suffering and human pain. Restored and ritelato, the painting is presented in a frame worked from the nineteenth century.
