Italy, Early XX Century

Large polychrome majolica amphora with an ovoid body and handles with winged sphinxes. Decorated in the round with a mythological motif depicting the ascent of the gods to Mount Olympus. The masterly pictorial rendering was created by the Troisi brothers active in Castelli and then in Sesto Fiorentino in the early 1900s.

Six carved chairs

Group of six chairs made by the artist Rino Galbiati. On the front they have two carved mermaid legs, on the back the backrest is made with two half columns and the legs are decorated with different Greek motifs. The carving is reinforced by a green decoration, original velvet padding.

Wall clock in gilded and carved bronze with leafy scrolls and plant motifs. Enamelled metal dial with Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes. Finely carved bronze hands. The mechanism is engraved with the words "M.me Couchet à Berou".

China, XX Century

Pair of vases painted in enamel with plant and animal motifs within reserves and on a gold background. Under the base, mark in blue painted underglaze. The vases are held up by elegant lacquered wooden supports.
