Description
Free standing clock in bronze with mercury gilding. The rectangular base supported by four circular-shaped feet has relief decorations with garlands of flowers held in the center by a vase and on the sides by tritons. The enamelled metal exhibition clock is surmounted by a female figure depicting Demeter, the goddess of fertility. On the sides of the watch there are some marine-themed references. Coeval winding key.
