Example in very good condition. Only the first of two volumes. Full leather binding with gilt titles and friezes on the spine and dry-framed plates: dust spots and minimal scratches on the plates; abrasions to the edges, corners and caps. Marbled paper on the backplates and on the first and last flyleaf. Red sprayed cuts. Very well preserved papers with slight waviness and very rare foxing. Some minor defects on the papers should be noted: ink splash on the internal margin between pages 196 and 197 (N2-N3); minimal black spot on the reverse of O7 with partial deletion of a word; small brown spot at the lower edge of T5. Text in Italian language.
