Description

Pair of eclectic shelves in carved and gilded wood in Mecca, Italy third quarter 19th century. Lower end composed of a bellflower topped by curls, which support the shelf surface covered in velvet. A vertical structure extends from the floor, decorated with large lateral leaf elements and a pair of central flowers; crown with three flowers at the apex. Small renovations and gilding restorations. Slight defects in the gilding.
