Description
A pleasant collection of watercolours in an editorial folder that immediately takes us back to the artistic atmosphere of the early 20th century: as evidenced by the advertisement in the magazine Ars et labor (“brand new publication”), the publication date should be 1907. In twelve views, the Milan of those years comes to life again: the author, the Milanese Paolo Sala (1859-1924), a student of painting and architecture with Boito at Brera, was specialized in the watercolour technique.
