Description
The lack of a frontispiece prevents us from identifying with certainty the author of these splendid 233 black and white photographs: a handwritten note allows us to date what seems to be a sort of Iberian Grand Tour between 1890 and 1895, but the signature is illegible. The photographs (landscapes, monuments, picturesque corners) give us the image of Spain at the end of the 19th century, between tradition and the beginnings of modernity in the urban views
