The Royal Porcelain Factory (Danish: Den Kongelige Porcelænsfabrik, internationally known by the brand Royal Copenhagen) is a porcelain manufactory founded in Copenhagen in 1775. The manufactory was founded in 1775 by the pharmacist and arcanist Frantz Heinrich Müller who had obtained a fifty-year privilege for the manufacture of porcelain under the patronage of Queen Mother Juliana Maria of Brunswick-Lüneburg.
