(view of Monterey and view of Ross) are incorrectly inserted both in the second volume.First Italian translation, due to Carlo Botta, Paolo Emilio's father, travelling companion of Duahut-Cilly, Voyage autour du monde, principalement à la Californie et aux Iles Sandwich, pendant les annees 1826, 1827, 1828, and 1829, interesting and documented account of voyage in the Americas and in the Sandwich Islands, full of geographic and ethnographic information. As an appendix to the second volume, original edition, the essays by Paolo Emilio Botta "Observations on the inhabitants of the Sandwich Islands and California," a vocabulary of the Sandwich Islands and "observations made at sea".
