Description
Oil on canvas. The santa, identified by the Crown and the flag is bifid with some of the eleven thousand virgins who, according to tradition, died martyrs with Ursula, for his refusal to marry a pagan King, having secretly consecrated to God. The artwork is mounted on the chassis of the early ' 900 and clad in brass.
