Piedmont, Mid XVIII Century

Baroque console in carved, gilded wood and with marbled top, Piedmont, mid-18th century. Supported by a pair of wavy legs connected to each other by a crosspiece carved in the central part with a cherub's face, the console features various types of decorations, including curls, "C"-shaped volutes, rocaille elements and plant elements. Completely regilded in the 19th century; deficiencies in the carving.

Console usable only close to a corner; metal supporting structure, teak veneered band, marble top.

Framed Bariglio Marble countertop. It has a tilting mirror with octagonal grooved frame holded by finely carved curnucopias. Mahogany pedulle slabbed. Shows the influence of the workshops of the cabinetmaker Peters.

Console with restoration mirror, resting on a shelf with turned feet, is supported by two wavy and carved uprights with leaf motifs; on the marble top rests a mercury mirror with a carved stop in the typical pod pattern and framed between two false pilasters that support the upper frame. Empire style console table supported by two pilasters carved with leaf motifs, framing the central compartment and supporting the slightly protruding undertop band in which there is a drawer. An ancient empire fireplace rests on the marble top, with a ledge of successive carved and gilded leaves and two tapered pilasters with gilded leaf carvings to support the entablature; in mahogany, the mirror is missing.
