Oil on canvas. The painting is attributed to Sisto Badalocchio, painter and engraver of the 17th century who worked with Agostino and Annibale Caracci decorating Galleria Farnese. The quality of the writing on the back of the painting supports the attribution. The painting depicts Christ praying in the garden of olives during the tragic night before his arrest. The painting is in good condition. Restored and relined. in frame of the late 1800s.
