Work in four volumes in good condition. Editorial bindings with titles and gilded figurative engravings representing the coats of arms and the initials O and R on the front cover; black decorations on the front and back covers; on the back covers small black coats of arms bearing the initials O and R: traces of dust, slight abrasions on the edges, corners and spine; signs of wear on the covers. On the lower external corner of the front back cover of the second volume, bookshop label; cut on the lower portion of the spine. Red cuts with traces of dust. Slightly browned leaves, well preserved. With scattered foxing, of varying size and intensity, on the first volume and on the first leaves of the fourth volume. Text in German.

Collection of drawings of studies and projects of buildings and decorative details by the architect Otto Rieth (1858-1911), one of the leading exponents of the current of the monumental architectural style that prevailed in Germany between the end of the 19th century and the First World War: as evident in the sketches, it is a style that takes up and emphasizes the architectural and decorative styles of the late Renaissance and Baroque, giving life to buildings in which painting, sculpture, decoration and architecture blend together in almost fantastic settings.
