Copy in good condition, consisting of loose quarters contained in a dust jacket with titles on the front cover: yellowing and signs of wear on the edges. The whole is placed in a shirt in poor condition with titles on the front cover and on the spine with dust spots, tears and losses. The quarters are in excellent condition, enriched by black and white plates and friezes. Watermark clearly visible on the upper external corner of the cards. Text in Italian.

The only book illustrated by Mario Sironi: the Laude by Iacopone, presented in the text edited from a philological and critical point of view by Father Emidio da Ascoli, are accompanied by six full-page plates and friezes by the artist, in a project entrusted to the editorial care and artistic direction of Gianpiero Giani. EDITORIAL JUSTIFICATION: 1 "out of print" copy numbered A, with the Papal Coat of Arms printed on it, destined for the library of His Holiness; 10 non-commercial copies on white paper with a repetition of the plates on blue paper, numbered from B to M; from 6 to 15 copies on blue paper with the illustrator's original attached and a repetition of the plates on white paper, numbered from N onwards; 4 copies on blue paper and repetition on white paper, numbered z¹, z², z³, z⁴, with a study by the illustrator attached; 10 copies on white paper with double suite numbered from "a" to "l"; 100 copies on blue paper numbered from I to C; 219 copies on white paper numbered from 1 to 219.
