Description
First Italian edition of the Lettres sur la Révolution française by J. Gorani, French citizen, to his friend Charles Pougens, published in Paris (with a false place of publication Londres) in 1793: nine letters (in the Italian edition the letter to the King of Spain that did not appear in the original edition is added) addressed to the European sovereigns in which Gorani, a fascinating figure of diplomat, adventurer and man of letters, explains his vision of the events of the French Revolution and its consequences on the European balance of power
