Full parchment binding with gilded titles on the fully decorated spine; the boards are framed by rich concentric gilded frames: traces of dust. Marbled back covers and flyleaves. Preserved browned editorial paperback with traces of dust: pencil annotation and price erased on the back cover. Red fabric bookmark attached to the volume. Frayed side and bottom edges and gilded head edges: traces of dust. Collational formula: [π]⁴, b-s⁴, 1-46⁴. Well preserved leaves with wide margins. Pencil trace on the upper margin in 41.3 (page 325). Woodworm hole on the lower margin from 36 to 46 (from page 249 to the end of the volume). Text in Italian.

The collection of poetic texts is preceded by an introductory speech, a description of the Codices used and not used, a catalogue of editions and translations and three Academic Lectures on Buonarroti's Rhymes. The text of the poems is accompanied by philological notes and a prose paraphrase. Our volume is embellished by a precious parchment binding with rich gilded decorations on the covers and spine.
